We hired J&J Landscaping because the owner, Darrell, is a straight shooter. He breaks everything down in his estimate. There are no hidden costs or overruns. His work is beyond marvelous. We had land that needed to be graded, an irrigation system installed, and sod put down. The irrigation line had to go under our concrete driveway. Darrell dug that hole by himself with the proper angle for the pipe to continue a downward journey the whole length it had to travel. His work is the finest you will ever see or get for your money. I cannot recommend him more highly. Get bids from others, but if you want the job done right, the first time, hire J&J Landscaping to do it.

Needed repair work done after having a new concrete pad placed for a new man-cave. #1 - Actually called me back! #2 - Showed up when they said they would! The area was transformed back to they way it was. Have one more area for them to do after the other construction is complete. I can’t wait to see it when I call them back to finish rest of the areas. I know it’s going to look great. I don’t know what jobs I will have in the future, but I know who I’ll be calling to get it done.

He did a great job leveling our backyard and a spot for our shed. He checked back to make sure he hit all of the areas we were needing and even took the time to get dirt from other areas of our land to fill in some of the uneven portions. He also spread grass seed and hay for us. We are very pleased with his work.

Service was VERY affordable. Quality of work was top notch! And directions in how to care for sod were very clear (this is my 1st house as an adult that had landscaping that needed tending to.)

We had 23 trees removed from our backyard & need it to be sodded. Darrel came right away & gave us an estimate and was very reasonable . He had to add soil & level the ground out before he layed the sod. It looked great when he finished and he explained how to care for it. Would definitely use him again.

Mr. Darrell Radcliff was so understanding of my situation, and it didn’t take long to realize he was honest, experienced, trustworthy -- and an answered prayer to my landscaping dilemma. Within days he gave me a reasonable quote, and he and his team (including his dog Calamity) have been extremely hard working and committed to the job, giving me constant updates and explaining each phase of the project from the initial preparation to the irrigation, sod installation, selecting and planting shrubs/trees, groundcover, fertilization and supportive suggestions on aftercare. He exhibits unwavering pride in every phase of the project and the results are obvious.
It has been a genuine pleasure working with Mr. Darrell. His professionalism and guidance on money-saving tips have been such a blessing and turned what I first thought would be a very stressful project into a pleasant reality. Entire property cleaned:cut lover hanging tree limbs, clean trash, removed hedges, trimmed and manicured the existing scrubs, mowed lawn, took away all garbage. I now have a bi-monthly service. I would highly recommend this company

Darrell from J and J Landscaping does quality work. I originally hired him last summer to install a pallet of sod in our backyard before renting our home out. Now that we have moved we had him come to our new house. Darrell did a fine job installing a french drain along the back of our yard. The improvement was noticeable overnight. Darrell also installed some Wax Myrtle and Magnolia trees for privacy screening, and moved a young Live Oak tree. He cares about the quality of his work and that is evident in the way he listened to our requests and worked them into his plan. Darrell maintained excellent communication every step of the way from delivering the quote, all the way until the job was complete. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Darrell has been doing landscaping for our home since 2007. Every spring he trims trees and bushes and does general beautification. This year he did some sod work and it turned out fantastic. Very reasonable prices and I would recommend him to anyone. Best of all he cleans up all the debris and leaves everything looking good!

Darrell graded and re-sloped the yard, designed new flower beds, planted (trees, shrubs, and flowers), added to/ repositioned the sprinkler system, and installed sod. He did it all!!! He did an amazing job, was consistent with appointment times, started and finished when he said he would. He even called and came by a year after completing the project and replaced two shrubs that didn't make it through the winter. He is definitely my top pick for any landscaping work.
